This beer was created on June 3th, 2001. It is composed of six varieties of cereals (Two rows malt, Munich malt, Caramel malt, Carastan malt, malted Wheat and toasted Wheat) and two varieties of hops (Northern Brewer ans Fuggle). This beer is named in honor of my wife’s ancestor; Louis Bariteau, also known as Lamarche, who arrived in New France on June 19th 1665 and married Mary Vara in Chambly in 1671. He was a soldier in the “Compagnie du Sieur de Chambly”, in the regiment of Carignan.
